PC Proton Therapy Center, Durham, NC (2019) - 38,900 sq. ft.
Center includes treatment, educational assembly, lobby with monumental stair, clinical, CT, offices, and equipment rooms. Produced and coordinated all drawings with consultants and worked regularly with client to provide an approachable, inviting environment for patients and meet all program needs. Exterior skin comprised of utility brick, insulated aluminum panel, and curtainwall. Worked on all life safety plans, including NCBC code reviews and NFPA requirements for building.
Duke North Pavilion Addition- ABMT (2019)
I happened to be around for that crunch when you need help detailing to finish up drawings, so my colleagues could focus on the client’s requests, phasing and a full renovation set. These enlarged wall sections intentionally match the precast at the existing building.
Renovation to the existing Wilson County Department of Social Services, Wilson, NC (Bid date TBD, 2017)- Base Bid 5,606 sq. ft., with Add Alt. #1- 578 sq. ft., Add Alt #2- 794 sq. ft., and Covered Waiting Area Add Alternate (size TBD).
Privacy, safety and sound attenuation were all very important to this Owner.
-Researched demountable partitions to compare with stud walls to underside of the deck per Owner request, for sound absorption, cost and flexibility arranging future offices.
-Modeled 'components in place' for 4 options of the Reception Area in Revit for best solution to allow quick interaction and privacy.
CHFC Harvest Dental Clinic, Princeville, NC (October 2017 groundbreaking)- 7,635 sq, ft.
This represents an in-house charette modeled in SketchUp to design the exterior of a new dental office, paid for with federal funding. It replaces dilapidated mobile units on site. The design became a collaboration of two models- mine and another colleague's. I also assisted plans during the SD phase, and later in DD and CD phase with wall sections and selection of materials; determining construction phasing of existing to new on tight acreage; and attended all client meetings.
UNC-P Student Health Services Building, Pembroke, NC (2015 Groundbreaking) -14,150 sq, ft,, with Bid Alternate for Meditation Garden with Trellis
I produced the Interiors Package (drawings, schedules and specifications); coordinated the general specifications thru DD and CD submissions; assisted with Code and UL Design listings; during a 'Value Engineering' phase, revised drawings and specifications for different products accordingly; and, incorporated State Construction Office review comments into drawings and specifications.

Raleigh Pediatrics Associates, Garner, NC (2010) - 14,000 sq. ft. Satellite Office
Assisted with CAD production of Construction Drawings. Assisted with Interiors Package; and, reviewed, recorded, and entered all Shop Drawings and Submittals documentation for LEED compliance to obtain Green rating. Reviewed polyvinyl chloride roofing for LEED compliance and assisted with roof plan development, including light monitors and equipment detailing and locations.
