Design based on Steel Stud Classroom Wing and Masonry Load-Bearing Wings, Type IB construction, Brick and Metal Panel Cladding
Responsible for responses to Town of Cary Municipal Review comments, assisted with adhering to WCPSS Ed Specs for program adherence, material research and design of exterior elevations, thermal envelope details at openings, and building code reviews. Repeated responsibility with all required responses to the Town of Knightdale's Municipal Review comments. Attended all Owner, Architect, and Contractor meetings and assisted with Value Engineering to keep to the building to budget.
